Praise the Lord!, this blog is solely devoted to lifting up the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by ministering to His people on ways to really live a holy, sanctified lifestyle in a real and personal way.
Just to give you a little background info about me (Check out My Testimony coming soon), I am Mrs. Adrian Gilbert, wife to the wonderful/amazing/loving Man of God Minister Gianni Gilbert. Be sure to follow him on social media @MinisterGianni.
We have been married now for 8 1/2 amazing years now and still going strong. I am truly grateful that the Lord placed us together or should I say PREDESTINED us together. As I reflect back on my life and my lifestyle prior to my husband, I see exactly how and why the Lord connected us. You know when you have found that person that you know if you were with anyone else they could or would not be able to accept or hold the capacity for you. Well that's my man, he completes me, motives me and inspires me to be all that the Lord has called me to be. Notice I said the Lord, because it is by Him that we live, move and have our being. My husband and I just want to be found in that place with God where we are doing all that we can while we can for His Glory! The Lord has given us both so much wisdom and insight on how to keep our marriage on the TRUE Rock. More to come on the topic of marriage and our love journey!
We have two beautiful and smart little girls. Genesis who is 6 years old and Anna who is 4 years old. They are truly little angels that minister to our spirits all the time. They have no problem praising the Lord or laying hands on you! The Word of God says in Proverbs 22:6 ”Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Side Note: I really like to back up what I am saying on the foundation of the Word of God, so I will be giving you LOTS of scripture for you to search at your own time. I just don’t want to give you my opinion, because my opinion does not matter but what does matter is what the Lord says!
But back to the bio of this blog….,
We really believe in setting the standard of Holiness for them and living a lifestyle that is pleasing to our heavenly Father.
There are so many people (family, friends, co-workers, etc) that don’t get or understand the standard of Holiness but I’m here to tell you it is very much important necessary. When we learn to be sincere with our walk with the Lord we will begin to see that our life is in Christ. So our lifestyle should reflect it. Just think about it in any natural relationship or friendship you have to establish some form of fellowship with that person to obtain trust. And if that person says that you are a friend they should know things about you and vice a versa. So when it comes to our walk with Christ sometimes we can become so meticulous that we lose sight of the connection. Jesus already knows us and everything about us, so there is no need to put on for Him because he already knows. So again I say out of all sincerity and honesty, "Will you be able to walk what you talk?" Think of it in the natural when you have found your spouse or friend that knows you so well that you don't have to do much they just get it. You can be yourself, you're relaxed, comfortable and feel that all barriers are down because you trust and know that that person loves and cares for you and you just get that sense of freedom....Well that is EXACTLY what Jesus wants with us.
Which leads me back to the purpose of this blog. It is designed to help encourage and inspire the people of God on how to live a personal and practical lifestyle in Holiness.
I will blog (as the Holy Ghost permits) on personal life experiences, and how to apply the standard of Holiness and modesty in your everyday life.
I pray that whoever the Lord leads to this blog be motivated to live an active life in Christ and lift up the banner of Holiness, because according to Hebrews 12:14, we are instructed to, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:”
May the Lord forever bless and keep you until the next due appointed blog!
